fifty-five-oh-six

This is our house and studio. Andrew lives here with his wife and two young children, ages 5 and 3. We have two dogs: one old and one young. We use our house to live, study, make art, make noise, have fun. This is the headquarters for meadow starts with p, Andrew's collaborative art practice with his children. Residents are encouraged to work with MSWP, but arrangements can be made for a solo project.

Two week residencies available in the summer.

Our house is a 1921 craftsman with some old-house character and lots of potential for art projects. The livingroom is a well-lit space directly inside the front door. The "teevee room" is adjacent to the lvingroom and functions as a guest room, with a couch-bed. These parts of the house are available for resident workspace/projects. We also have a large garage filled with interesting odds and ends (bike parts, robots, sports equipment, power tools, etc.). The garage and materials are available for resident use, as well as our large toy collection (pending specific kid approval).
Directly behind our house is a greenbelt, which is basically a wild jungle forest. Great for projects.

Our only restriction is that the scenario (people, projects) must be appropriate and safe for kids. We can't have any buzz-saw flamethrowing clowns. Also, no drugs.
Our house isn't big, so the visitor(s) should like being around children. The dogs are outside during the day, and they can stay out at night in the summer, if dogs are a problem.
